Hey all. I'm working on the Lucky prompt for March's contest. I thought it would be cute to have a class of animal/kids working on 'lucky' art projects. Then I wondered if it is a 'no no' to anthropomorphize kids? That's still okay, right? I can change them either way to either more human or full animal. I just thought it would be fun/cute.

I have a spread with an image of a class room on the Left and 3 spots on the right where the bunny/girl is cutting out leaves for a 4 leaf clover.

Feed back and thoughts are appreciated.
      Cheers!
      Katrina

@katrinaf Zootopia and Sing and many other films have plenty of them, so I don’t see it as a problem myself.

@katrinaf looks like a great start! Why would anthropomorphic children be a no no? Lol kids deserve to be anthropomorphic-ized same as any adult!

@katrinaf Super cute work! I'm not aware of any no-nos, but I do notice that the bunny girl is further toward human than the other animals are. Not sure exactly why, but I feel like the characters should all be at about the same place on the animal-to-human scale.

@asyas_illos Well... I was listening to a podcast where the art director was saying something like 'don't use gorillas as kids' and I was half paying attention at the time while drawing. Fast forward to now where I'm drawing kid/animals... wish I'd paid more attention. LOL.

@valerie-light Yes. Good call. I was thinking of that late last night as I was sketching some more. I noticed that the hands of the giraffe and the Rhino are more animal and the bunny is more human... I'll have to think about that and change some things. Thx for your feed back!
