So first post and first contribution to Critique Arena if I submitted it correctly. I did not have enough time to get the colors where I wanted them. I barely had a few hours today to work on this. I was happy with where I got the drawing. But had to pretty much just color with no flats to try and submit by midnight. Everyone has some great entries this month. Looking forward to being more active in the forums.

Whoa, what a whirlwind! I got distracted by CBPro and the due date totally crept up on me. I decided to keep it simple and just tighten up the graphite rough I had already started.

I went with illustrating a cover for an imaginary book about a real baby alpaca, Lucky! Lucky was attacked by a mountain lion in the farm where he was born in Cook, Washington. Thankfully, his mama defended him and he's a healthy grown-up boy today.
