Hi everyone (sorry for the long post)! It's been a long time since I've felt like I was in a good place to make artwork much less have it critiqued. I've been working on developing illustrations around animals (I was recently told they were one of my strongest areas), and this little girl I developed for an idea that I'm hopefully going to turn into a book idea someday.

The idea is Abby is exploring and finds these little frogs. I showed it to a friends daughter (5 years old) and she started counting how many frogs she could find, so that gave me the idea to add more frogs as I continue.

Some things I'm hoping to get feedback on:

      • Character design, composition, does the story communicate well?

I'm attaching a few of my thumbnails and study sketches if that helps.

      Thank you guys!
