Here is my entry at last, I enjoyed the process though it was a long one and I learned so much, though I almost gave up. Funnily enough the last few days we started to have storms!

I hope I can get some feedback on this image, it is the best I can do for now.

The Calm During the Storm.
When I was little I was afraid of storms. I have a memory of my dad sitting with me, on Pelee Island Ontario, watching a storm. It was the first time I was not afraid. Him explaining to me the fact that light travels faster than sound and that it was off in the distance calmed me.
