      I still have a lot to learn, but I definitely see an improvement here. Anybody else struggle with tone?

        @akwisler Great job! I like how much dimension the second drawing has, especially b/c of how you used different line weights.

        I definitely struggle with tone too. I highly recommend Lee's Light and Shadow for Illustrators class. I'm just about to finish it up, and it might be my favorite SVS class so far. Lee breaks things down in a really helpful and logical way. It might be the first time I've actually had fun practicing tone!

        (It's geared towards digital, but if you're like me and prefer pencil and paper, you can definitely just print out the worksheets and do the work on paper.)

          Great job! Yes, me too! Tone, color, perspective, lots to learn but I feel like this is a great place to learn it. lol

            Thanks for sharing this with us, @akwisler!! You've got some nice line work
            and depth happening on the second piece!! 🙂 And there's a charm in the first. Nice clean lines. You could truly develop that style as well.
