CLOUD idea… thoughts?

Here’s where I think I’m going with this prompt. Birds at play in the sky. I kept trying to come up with creatures playing in the clouds, but I think I like the bird idea. I sketched this in procreate and I’m going to print it out then use a light table and ink it. Maybe put it back in procreate for details, Color, etc. What is everyone’s view on the process for this? Am I overthinking it?

@Erichousel Your process sounds fine; actually similar to mine. In terms of overthinking, I think there's more room to consider your concept. Might I suggest adding something to your story?...Right now, your clouds are passive observers--the birds taking the starring roles. Since Cloud is the main concept, what if the cloud(s) had a more active role? How might it look if the clouds were also playing with the birds?

@Erichousel Love the birds, super cute and well done! I agree with @Johanna-Kim that there could be more of a story involving the clouds, and playing with them would be cute.
Another direction for thought (feel free to ignore) the clouds are annoyed by the birds making holes in them.

I liked the idea of the clouds not just being observers. Pretty close now. Got some rendering to do. Thanks for the comments!
