@Jeremiahbrown cute!

I've been working on a portfolio piece. I've gotten as far as a sketch with a value study, but want to get feedback on my composition/values before moving forward. Anyhoo, here it is...
-
I colorized a map I did for an MG book. It will hopefully be used at giant size for a promotional poster. I rather like how it turned out.

@JessicaLinnEvans Cool map! Turned out great!

Hi Everyone. I've been doing a winter art challenge on instagram called #OBOnceUponAWinter. There are six prompts and you have to do a drawing for each to make a sequence of illustrations. I have never tried anything like it before!
-
This is supposed to be for the christmas dinner prompt of the advent challenge.
I don't think I'll actually finish the challenge in time though.

@Jeremiahbrown You do characters so well!!!

@KatrinaF I love your technique! Really cool. Sorry if I missed something, do you create episodes for your Patreon? Where do you post your progress and processes?

Hey Erin! For progress and process videos I post short clips on Instagram. I utilize Instagram mainly as marketing for my comic and some fan art. (Instagram:katrinaComics).
I have a Patreon where I have early access to my Free webcomic, Omega Elixir, as well as monthly illustrations for supporters. Depending on the tier they chose it's either a SFW or a NSFW image. FYI my comic is not for kids.
I do have an Instagram for my children's illustrations but I haven't posted in a while. KJF.illustrations I'll be posting more when I do my 'Illustrate your Kids book in 1 month'. I'll prob do that in Feb 2023.
Oh and here is my Kids illustration website. It's on my list to update but .... I gotta prioritize my comic as well as Patrons!
If ya have questions about my process let me know! I love to share.

@JessicaLinnEvans really cool illustration. I'd recommend only using 3 or 4 values and breaking it down strictly into foreground, mid, and background. Once that is established you can further add values to each layer. The trick being "can you tell what's going on when really zoomed out".

i made my annual christmas cards. I could have spend some more time, but i'm absolutely late.
Still like the outcome -
@von_Nimmermehr This is so great! Love the script, color palette Better late than never! I haven't done much Christmas stuff yet but there's maybe a couple minutes for digital cards.
-
@KatrinaF Thank you! Love it. I admire the diligence too! I'm figuring out IG, probably by the time I get it figured out they'll change the algorithym. LOL I will check out your stuff!

@MarcRobinson This simplification is starting to make a huge difference in my work lately. I appreciate this insight you have given me. Big thanks to you....
