@Mia-Clarke oooh how beautiful! I love the textures you use. thanks for sharing your version! I really enjoy seeing other people's versions of something I'm doing.
-
@ajillustrates good point!
-
@GabeRobinson I'm planning on adding some snowflakes. I'll try adding more branches too. thanks!
-
@kirsten-mcg Oh, yes, I see the snowflakes now!
-
@kirsten-mcg I like both of these but the second one is tricky with the lamp and text placement. If you do go with the first one I think you should really emphasize the world theyβre looking into. The tree branches are good, I think some snow drifting in and some snow collected on the parts of the clothes closer to Narnia could look nice.

@ajillustrates @Mia-Clarke @ArtMelC @ArtistErin @LauraA @StudioHannah @GabeRobinson @Nyrryl-Cadiz Thought I would share some updates on this project. Cleaned-up sketch and value study, and color study. Thanks for helping me decide everyone! If you have any further critiques don't hesitate to share.

@kirsten-mcg I still remember that visceral feeling of Lucy and her siblings peeking into the wardrobe...how it must've smelled and the magical world inside! You totally captured that here. Can't wait to see the evolution!!!
-
@ArtistErin thanks so much! Best encouragement ever!
-
@kirsten-mcg captures perfectly π₯°

And done! Thanks again for your help everyone.
-
@kirsten-mcg Nice! I think the kids' expressions capture their personalities well. I'd just leave a little more top/bottom margin around the type.
-
@zoe-foster Awesome! Thanks for the link!

@kirsten-mcg I love how the final version turned out! It's such a creative viewpoint, and their expressions are really good. The tree branches and snowflakes really add to the wonder- it's a unique and beautiful cover
