Hi everyone, I'm new here and just finished my assignment for "How to Draw Everything." It was really hard for me to draw the 1st house from my mind in only 15 minutes, and I really struggled with the perspective. The 2nd one was easier, since I was trying out techniques from class, but I couldn't figure it out in only 15 minutes! So it's wonky, especially the windows nearest the viewer. And the roof support beams are supposed to be laying vertically, not flat. Ooops. Anyway, here they are:

@NickyDrew these both are so cute and have so much character for only a 15 minute drawing. I think you have a good start on these assignments 🙂

for a 15 min sketch it is quite good 😃 Did you have to draw any house?
Also the house looks really round, is it intentional, like a hobbit house?

@Geoffrey-Mégardon Thank you! The only rule was it had to be a house, so there was a lot of freedom! 🙂 Yes, I meant for it to be round but was worried I made it look too cube-ish. I'm glad it actually does look round!

Honestly, I think both designs are pretty cool! 😃 Your houses already tell a story, without a character around, as they have unusual architectural styles.
Love them and would love to see them finished! 😃

But I guess that is not part of the course?

@MimiHecher Awww thank you so much! 😊 I didn't realize they tell a story on their own, so that's really good to hear.

You're right- it's not part of the course. But I'm working on a story about a little rabbit, and I think I'm going to use them as a base for designing her house! Thank you so much for the encouragement!
