Hi everyone, I'm super new here and really excited to join such a vibrant illustration community!
My name is Jay Penn. I hail from Australia, but have lived in Ireland for many years now.
I've always drawn, and have had a few little successes in the world of illustration. I'm looking, in this 47th year of existing, to really see what I can make happen in this glorious field.
I focus primarily on children's books, and hope to have stories for middle graders written and illustrated by me out in the world in the future.
Anyway, I'll keep it short and sweet here, there's drawing to be done!

Great storytelling in some of the images! I love the underwater octo-monster at the bridge. Welcome! And this forum is fantastic, many very nice people who are generous with their time and advice, and will give you the honest feedback that you are looking for. Everyone is at all different levels, but everyone has the common goal of producing strong artwork.
