I was looking for feed back on my sketches and concept of the Astrid 3rd Thursday critique.

      Thanks,

I was thinking of going with a little hover scooter in the top image. Then went with a traditional 'flying saucer' in the last image. Looks like I'll need to expand that area.

@Katrina-Fowler I really like where you're going with this. I love that she's stepping out onto the creatures.

I think her pose in the last one communicates the "cautiously stepped" part of the sentence really well, but it might work better to move her pupils so she's not looking directly at the viewer. And in the last image-- is that one idea or two? I think moving the creature/craft/Astrid up higher, overlapping the other rocks more, might tie the whole thing together better and make more sense perspective-wise.

But please keep the moon. It really sets the mood and creates contrast with the rock creatures.

Yay! I'm excited to see where you take this!

first one is strong, but background character is so bad compared with Astrid, which is dinamyc and with better forms and shapes, that monster is so flat, play with it

last picture of the moon is so strong, but what's down, ufo and character do not integrate
