Web Comic - Advice on Self-Promoting

Hey there, SVS. It has been a while and since then I started a new project for a web comic, since this seems to be the only platform available to me at the moment. Originally, I intended to try syndication and send my comic strips like these ones:
After talking to @Jake-Parker previously, I was told the market for syndicated comics is dead and gave up on that idea. Now I turned my focus to Web Comics. Since I don't have any restriction about the format I want to publish, I did a few modifications in my strip, and these are the ones I produced since then:
I'm very satisfied with the results I got since I changed the 4-panels format. It's also the first time I post colored versions of my comics. But I'm still a bit skeptical about start posting them online. All my previous attempts failed in gathering a readership. So I'm looking for advice in how it would be the right way to promote my comics out there. I want to avoid the same mistakes I did in the past, so how can I make my efforts worthwhile? I don't want instant results or anything like that, just to know what would be the right way to proceed with this.

I wish you luck my friend. It's a tough choice to try and make money with a webcomic. I tried myself for 5 or 6 years but never could get enough of a following to make it profitable. I think one year I made like $120.00 off of it. There are quite a few different models for making money with a webcomic. The ones that are seem to make their money more off of selling merchandise to their base of readers (t-shirts, print copies of the book, posters, and stickers.) So you really just have to find something that attracts a certain group of people. Again wish you luck it's a hard path but boy would it be fun to just draw webcomics for a living. A good source of information is webcomics.com. It's subscription based ($30/year), but I think there are some free articles. If you're serious about doing a webcomic, subscribing might be worth it. Good luck.

@felipeonodera They look really nice. I did see a couple of type-os that you might want to correct. Mainly, surrogate parents instead of suggarate. I didn't read the whole thing but that caught me off guard a little. Wish yuo teh best! You've doen a lot of hard work and I can see that you have a talent for it!

@evilrobot Thanks for the recommendation! Oh, making a living with it would be nice, indeed. But as for now I would be satisfied to just promote my work that way. Possibly opening doors for other creative jobs. This is not a work for me as for now, I do it mostly for the fun. But of course, I would not mind if there was a way to make a little profit out of it as well!

@marsha-kay-ottum-owen Ohhh, thank you for your kind words and for letting me know about that typo! Usually, I show my comics to a few friends before posting anywhere and no one of them pointed that out, so thank you for spotting it, I will fix it right away!

I suggest following the class 'how to get 10.000 followers' on SVS. It provides a solid strategy for you to create a following. Other than that is just saying 'just do it'. They look good, and if youve got enough content and frequent updates, then just do it
