      Hi guys!

I have a simple idea of mice trying to scare a cat. He is at home preparing his pumpkins and mice dress up in costumes and are trying to get into his house.

This is the first I am trying to do it properly (value, colour decisions) so I am looking forward to your valuable comments and advice 🙂

PS: I don't know yet if I am going to ink it and submit to monthly contest or just go with digital for my own purposes.

@aska Just be careful that the pumpkins closer to the window don't distract from the main focal point. They are not the main part of the story, the cat is.

Until I read your description, I didn't really know what was going on in this picture. I think it might be better to approach this from a different angle, and showing the mice inside and scaring the cat. Especially if this isn't going to be a comic or a storyboard and just a single illustration, you might want to skip to the punchline so that we know exactly what's going on. I love the idea, and it's such a cute idea! Can't wait to see how this progresses. 😃

@jbrannan hey, thanks for input 🙂 however i went quite far now and would prefer to make smaller changes, if possible 😉
so if what i done below doesn't work (still a draft), perhaps i could put a sign on the right bottom, which will be pointing left and saying 'cat scare point' or smith like that. What do you think?
