my first digital attempt

After years of painting the traditional way, I have taken the plunge and am trying out digital, using a program called Sketchbook Pro which seemed a lot less intimidating that photoshop to me! Here is my first attempt at a character - any feedback is welcomed!!

I like the costume, but iam not sure about the boy. Lines look a bit washed too, so perhaps try to crisp them up. Good luck! -
