Help Deciding

I'm going to enter the Facebook Character Design Challenge this month, the prompt is "Backpacker." I just need help choosing a direction to go.
A.) BikePacker. I like this one because it's unique and would stand out.
B.) Trash Picker. I like this one because it has a snarky commentary.
I'l figure out the design once I have a direction. but what are your thoughts?

I'm a biker so I'm partial to the bike but both have potential. Which one would you likely have more fun with?
