Hello friends. After watching the Magic of color class and painting color and light class I’m practicing on my iPad and was wondering if anyone would be so kind as to give me any input. I was trying to use a green and yellow color palette to just do a lamp in a bedroom but found it to be very difficult. If there are any masters of light and color out there that would be willing to provide feedback, I would greatly appreciate it.

I tried a bluer green and it feels like it works better I think?

I wouldn't worry about the color right away. Just paint the values in grayscale and you can overlay color on top of it once you nail the lighting.

I don't think you're too far away from getting the lighting right but the yellow is a bit too saturated and the black line down the middle of the image isn't helping.

          Aim for this

@branden-brushett Thanks I did do it in grayscale first but I guess was too excited to try colors and rushed it? What do you think it is? I attached the grayscale. (Also that black line is the dip in the wall in my room)
