"Brothers"
Might as well be the first! This was drawn from a photo I took of my two boys
It was saturday morning, they'd already eaten their breakfast and were happily horsing around the livingroom. I guess here they were playing tug of war with the pants the big brother was supposed to put on
I was drinking a cup of coffee and thinking how all is well.I used a brush pen plus colour pencils.
-
I guess I'll be second. This was done in Procreate on my iPad.

"Fatherly Love"
Hey, guys!. I am happy to participate in this months challenge. This piece is based on a personal memory: I remember when my son looked me in the eye when he was about 20 minutes old. His gaze was so profound. Like he was looking straight into my soul. That was my "father moment".
I made this piece for my Dad-Dad comic series during last Inktober. It was done in Procreate. Now I looked at it with a fresh eye and cleaned it up.
Hope you guys like it. Good luck everyone! -
@nasvikdraws this never fails to touch me every time. This is so amazing.

"For the love of honey"
I really enjoyed the process on this one. I didn't want to do anything typical that has to do with love, like hearts and arrows. So I tried to think out-of-the-box and this is the result.
I think I just really wanted to draw a bear and then somehow convinced myself this would fit the topic because bears love honey. At least, that's what Winnie the Pooh told me.

She picked up her paintbrush.
She picked up her pencil.
She spilled her love,
out onto the world.

Hi, this month Cupid is sick (er...so he says...) and he asked pixie Polly and Paws to take his place because he doesn't have a date, NO.... he is sick... YES. Made with only ball point pens

This one is done in collaboration with my 3yo. I asked him what would he do to show his little brother he loves him. And he said he would feed him. So there you go

I just realized how dark and dull this looks. The original is much brighter and more vivid. I think it doesn't always translate well--my screen isn't the best so it's hard to tell. I may tweak this a bit and repost it

"Don't Go Bacon My Heart"
The inspiration for this piece came from my Great Pyrenees and the way she looks at bacon when I'm cooking breakfast. Love at first sight.

@Coreyartus love this piece! It reminds me when we buried my sister's old teddy bear in a shoe-box... a few years later he was re-discovered lying in his coffin. He had as many patches as the bear on your drawing!

Oh! not sure I can comment here. It seems dedicated to the contest. Sorry!

@Julia I think the whole forum is open to all, so comments are totally welcome!
