100 Head Challenge
-
@Susan-Marks Great work, I am also using procreate for my heads sketching and almost all my other sketching. You could try other brush to get more "pencil" art, I use the last brush inside the "textures brushes". I have it in german, so I cannot tell You the name, but the pressure works there very good and I have about 70%opacity on it.

Day 2
-
@JerrySketchyArt I'm in the middle of doing this challenge too!! And I decided to do it with my brush pen for the same reasons as you.
Not trying to do in 10 days as this isn't realistic for me with full-time work, but I'm at head 66 so far... Averaging around 8 a day. I'll post them here when I'm done.
Good job on yours. Nice to see you sticking to the challenge
-
@MichaelaH I like this round of characters as well.
I never would have thought of using that brush as a pencil. I usually use it huge on backgrounds. But my challenge with procreate is that itโs so darn easy to erase and redo. Iโve actually written into other non-drawing apps I use to ask them to please add the two-finger tap to undo. Itโs a curse in drawing.
-
@Susan-Marks I know, I love this two-finger tap also, but it is really a curse, because when I am drawing analog on paper, I am always tapping on the paper...
-
Day 6
(I reach for the undo button constantly. Seriously is the digital curse.)
-
I should mention that many of these from the official Pinterest are sculptures, so ones like #57 are stretched because of the reference being non-realistic.
-
@JerrySketchyArt Love the last page, 56, 58, 60, really great
-
Day 3: I still need a lot of time for the realistic version, but the second or third face, I am very super quick doing them.
-
Day 4
-
Day 7
-
@JerrySketchyArt thanks for posting this. Very cool challenge.
-
5 day, I learn a lot from the realistic drawing, but now I will be doing only the easy quick comic style.
-
Day 8
I think the coffee kicked in on page 2.
-
@MichaelaH me too!
So I gave my self a challenge - draw 30 illustration, digitally, but use no undo button, no eraser, none of these amazing photoshop magic. Just one type of pencil. It was an eye opener. I learned the undo button helps me to be bold and do a thing, because I know I always can change it. On the other hand, when I couldnโt use the undo, I was more aware of what Iโm doing, putting more interest into my process of painting. But sure I was glad to come back to my precious beloved undo button after those 30 paintings
Sorry for being off topic๏ธ

@mag I know
THE undo button
, you are right, without it we concentrate more on the drawing itself and we don't do perfect...
-
Day 6
-
I know I a bit behind, but my brother and decided to do the challenge together and today is Day 1 for me. Here you go.
-
Day 9 (Kind of, my internet was down for a day so I'm doubling up on this last one)
-
Last 10 pictures. Woohoo!
