100 Head Challenge

@JerrySketchyArt yes-you did show great improvement.
And in addition inspired me.
a) I put #'s on them to see how close/far to 100--what a concept.So here are my last set. I improved a lot as well and can see the value of sticking to an actual number to complete. I mixed it up--used some off Line of Action, then switched to the Pinterest board, and then yesterday worked on 6 heads for each of my 2 main characters in the comic I'm working on. They are the "horizontal" row. Believe it or now, the 6 on the left are all supposed to be the same character; same for those on the right. I can only see room for improvement there!

@JerrySketchyArt Jerry You got better, the most the work on the eyes.

@JerrySketchyArt - Finally finished! Here are my 100 heads...!
-
@ShannonBiondi They are all phenomenal
-
@ShannonBiondi Those are great! What were your tools and time limits?
-
@ShannonBiondi This is great to see them as a set. And I see how you solved some of the problems I had in some of the sketches-thanks for sharing!
-
Great work! I didn’t end up drawing 100 but did around 20 or so as well and it was neat to see your versions of the same heads I drew.
-
@MichaelaH Thanks so much!!
-
@Susan-Marks Hi Susan! I'm glad you liked them. I struggled drawing the women a lot more than I did drawing the men. Female noses are tough!! And I need to work on lips. But overall I'm happy and I'm feeling really satisfied at having finished all of them!
I've really enjoyed looking at your progress with each post you add. Looking forward to more!

@JerrySketchyArt Hey! Well first I did a sketch using an orange Col-Erase pencil. I'd sketch maybe 8-12 heads at a time and it would take me an average of 10-15mins per head for the sketch. Then I'd come back later and ink over the heads using a brush pen because I wanted to practice my inking too! While I inked, I tried fixing some things that I spotted were wrong with the sketch...that would take me around 30mins per head. So on average, 45mins per head... My next phase is to add value to them to practice my digital painting skills. Here are 4 I started doing in that way. But this is going to be a more long term project where I do a couple heads here and there to distract myself!

@ShannonBiondi Thanks for sharing. The time you spent really shows. Great drawings! I've been wanting to experiment with scanning in traditional line work and then doing some digital painting too. People like Scott Roberston get some amazing results with that process.

Moving on to Day 6... I am really enjoying this challenge. Thanks @JerrySketchyArt for throwing this out there!
