Hello from Gothenburg, Sweden!

Hi all! I'm Johan Schneider and I aspire to become an illustrator some day. I began subscribing to SVS today and will begin the fundamentals The plan is to master my craft in the upcoming 2 years and then go from there!

I'm currently working as a Graphic designer and have been drawing ALOT through my life. I never had any formal art education which is something that I have somewhat felt bad for, that I never REALLY pursued my passion for drawing.

Anyhow... I will try to get in at least 2-4 hours a day of course work and practise between being at work and on parental leave. And keep that up as best as I can during this first year. I will try to share my progress as I go^^

@Johan-Schneider best wishes as you work to meet your goals! @ShannonBiondi has a very detailed worksheet she set up to define the actions required to achieve her goals. You might find that thread helpful in scheduling time for art in what sounds like a busy schedule.

Hi @Johan-Schneider! I am here in Sweden too (although I’m american) and also starting my illustration journey with SVS and storyteller academy. I will be in GTB soon for the Bökmassan. Doing research on publishers there. Looking forward to seeing your city
