      Good afternoon!

Here is painting #2. I was trying to mess around with a combination of digital and traditional media..

On another note... can one change the subject of a thread without deleting the whole thread? I’m beginning to think "100 bad paintings"is a bit overkill and "100 paintings" will do πŸ™‚

      Happy Friday

@Annaaronson You definitely posted this in the wrong thread!! This is NOT a BAD painting!!! Maybe you should change the thread subject to "100 Not Bad At All Paintings"... πŸ˜‰

I hope the publisher likes stick figures!!

@Annaaronson could you share your process on painting #2? I am trying very hard to find some kind of way to combine digital and traditional media. I am courious what the painting look like when you switch to work digitally.
I was doing a tradtional painting today and wanting to finish the painting digitally. I am courious on how others do it.

@xin-li absolutely. Ill upload a picture of it before I worked with it digitally. I did the original in gouache, watercolor, and a tiny bit of prismacolor ( that didn't really show up well) I scanned it in just by taking a picture of it on my phone because I couldn't get my scanner to work, ha! and just used the 6B pencil in procreate over the top πŸ™‚

@Annaaronson thank you so much for sharing. I can see that you did most of the work traditionally. Very beautiful painting.

                                  Painting #5!

This one was for Rebecca Green, Danielle Duer, and Meera Patel’s Instagram hashtag #sevencelebrations . The first prompt was "beginnings" and may have been inspired by all the Dr. Pol I have been watching. 383BB498-89E0-40E5-9E37-DB4ACB5FCC71.jpeg

Hey guys! It’s been awhile since I’ve posted. I have been working on some class work and normal sketching, but having a hard time finishing paintings these last few months. Here are a few. The first one is this months contest entry. It was done about half digitally and half traditionally. The second one was all in procreate. πŸ™‚ This project (while slow since all the kids have been home since March πŸ˜‚) has been so fun to play around with different techniques and styles without any pressure. I think these are paintings 6 and 7. 😊
