@NessIllustration Ok, from the clues provided, my best guess is that since we were all participants in a meeting as opposed to attendees in a webinar, audio didn't work for you because you were using Firefox or Safari. On the zoom help center it says:
**Joining computer audio on Firefox and Safari is only available for webinar attendees.

@TessaW Oh! I hadn't thought of my browser, but I'm actually using Opera and I know sometimes that causes issues because it's a less commonly used browser.

I'll be happy to spend some time making sure everyone who wants to present is comfy with the tech in the week leading up to presentation

Watching your process was very helpful and I have to confess that I realized when I heard your voice, I had subconsciously been imagining you to sound like one of your characters! You sounded so grown up
