I have an agent!

Hi guys,

I just want to share the exciting news that I now have an agent! I’m maybe sharing this a bit pre-maturely as I still need to send over all my work and be put up on the website, but I am excited so feel like I have to share I’m now represented by T2 illustration agency. Thank you for everyone’s comments on my other post where I asked advice I don’t comment as often as I should here (I often think other people can sum up my thoughts better than I can!) but I am an avid lurker and feel like the past few months I have been an SVS member have kept me encouraged and inspired. I am looking forward to the next phase of my illustration journey

@eriberart awesome sauce thats great to hear and congrats. If I may ask how long did it take for them to get back to you after you submitted the email ?

Also what does one say when reaching out to an agent die you keep it short and to the point saying you were looking for representation with a few of your samples attached ?

@Corlette-Douglas she actually reached out to me after seeing my work on Instagram! But most agents will have specific guidelines for you to follow on their websites with how to submit to them. Some prefer you to attach a few JPEG’s, some like a pdf of your work etc. I would probably keep it short and sweet and just write a small paragraph about who you are and that you are looking for representation .
