This is Pulse - I painted him in Procreate to try out some new Procreate brushes for oil and w/c (excellent BTW - from TipTopBrushes). I see Pulse's posts pop up on Facebook and he always signs off "for my ladyfriends" so I thought it very likely he would be giving them a wink!

It was not technically work because I did it for fun as a new iPad wallpaper but I wanted to share it because I really enjoyed how it flowed when I drew it
I've been drawing space scenes lately. I love playing with colors and nebulas and then filling it with stars of all kinds

Hi friends. How has everyone been lately?

This is the preview of a set of illustrations that will soon go live on the website of a Covid-related initiative. A group of creatives and psychologists decided to put together a simple webpage with wellbeing best-practices touching upon topics that are particularly important in these weird uncertain times. Then they asked illustrators to visualize their advice, giving total freedom in terms of style and subject. My choice was a set of creatures, one per paragraph, to try and stay away from gender/race stereotypes as much as possible. Here you can see the full set plus my two favorite ones.

Beast. Not sure if I like dark or light pants better. I might go with light because the evil Gaston (but oddly charismatic in some sense - ok I’m crushing heavily on the Luke Evans actor who played him in recent movie lol) will have dark pants.
