@Ruth-Tripp Thanks Ruth! I usually do my thumbnails with pencil and paper and then scan them into Photoshop for the rest. I haven't used Procreate, but it looks like a lot of fun. I have been learning how to create my own brushes in Ps and used a few from Lee White's brush class to get the lighting effect I wanted. Then it was just a matter of playing with layer modes and such! Thanks again!

@sufitch thank you! Your piece is gorgeous too! Some parts are so deliciously textured, I feel like I can feel the pencil in my hand and other portions look maybe digital(?) How do you get that affect?

@Ruth-Tripp thank you for the compliment! I'm actually really old school. My piece is all hand done with just touch ups done in photoshop. Yours looks digital, but still has a great hand drawn feel to it. I love the concept too. Well done!
