Here some more progress. Do you see any compositional problems?

@chrisaakins it’s looking good! Be careful about having too much empty space on the left side of the composition. I think a bigger pile of trinkets that is spilling left behind the leaf could help. Also what about a bit of context as to how the treasure is being ‘contained’ in the space. Is it just piled up on the ground hidden behind the leaves? I don’t know what swamp plant you have in mind but I kind of visualise a bird’s nest fern with its centre filled up like a nest, the form of the leaves in a round could also give more interest and depth to the background.

@chrisaakins This is so appealing!! Wow! Like @Lovsey suggested, gave me a similar idea that you could put the hoard inside a bird's nest in the leaves, because this creature is the perfect size to do something like that. What a cool piece!

@Lovsey thank you for your critique. I think you were right. I added more trinkets and more leaves. I think it looks more grounded in its environment now.

Oops! he was missing a leg. I added more detail on his wings. I brightened it up a little and added a frame.
