I'm enjoying the adventure aspect of this scene but wondering if it tells enough of a story? I chose the lined fields because I liked the mirroring of the wing pattern but now wondering if it should be cleaner or different background all together. Fresh eyes would be great!SVSdrafly.jpg

Cool concept! I really like the fields. Are you trying to convey that they are hovering or are that they are flying forward?

@djlambson Hi, Deborah. I really like where this piece is going myself. The choice to mirror the wings with the ground is interesting. I personally enjoy it, the only critique would be that most of the characters and action are over top of a "busy" ground. I think color would allow the subject to come forward more, but other than that the ground plane is handled interestingly. I would say it doesn't seem like natural landscape layout, certainly more wing-like, but I really don't mind that. 🙂 I hope that helps.

@TessaW I was thinking fairy world, sort of magical when developing and I lost my direction there. I'll turn that top guy around to make more sense of the nonsensical. 🙂 Thanks for the feedback!

@Jeremiah-Gorrell Thanks ..that's what I was feeling as well..even with playing with color the lines are bothering me, so I will eliminate them or move onto a different background. Thanks so much for the feedback.
