Re: JULY CONTEST: Design a book cover for the Wizard of Oz
My piece was one referenced as needing improvement on the Emerald City, which was great feedback!
Looking at the blobs isolated from the of the elements was a great way for me to realized that I can’t “phone it in.” I didn’t think that until I saw the close up!
I was inspired to focus on the city as a character and I am so appreciative of that feedback!!

The city define with shadow and with angles also heightens the tension/uncertainty the characters feel that helps tell the story.
