@thiskatecreates I used to paint with oil colours for a short while years ago, but like you said the setting up (and storing the unfinished work) was a pain in the you know where! 😀

@hannahmccaffery haha I don't know if the trains here are that clean but the hard lighting and colour choices (white, grey, green, in the newer trains) make them seem like sterile operating rooms...

@mikinberger The fact that there are exercises definitely increases the value for me. I like homework. XD. Not every class has "assignments" but a lot of the "curriculum" ones do and I'm finding them really helpful.

@hannahmccaffery I sympathize with your lack of sunny weather. I was trying to do a landscape with a blue sky and looked through my personal photos to find a reference but all of my pictures showed overcast gray skies! I live in western NY state, US where the prevailing winds come across the Great Lakes and dump their moisture on us. It sounds like I’d feel right at home in Wales.
