SEPTEMBER CONTEST: Ink Fairy
-
This was a challenge! My first time using ink washes. Learned a lot! This was done on arches watercolor paper, with Higgins ink and micron pens, with my text done in procreate. Love seeing everyone’s work!
-
Love the idea of an ink fairy working behind the scenes to better our illustrations!

Hi folks! Here's my submission! Great job this month, everyone! Some really, really awesome pieces here.
-
-
Just barely made it, not much time these days. I look forward to seeing all the entries on the slideshow
-
@ajillustrates love the sleeping expression on her face
-
@Gary-Wilkinson Thanks! I wanted to hint that she's having a good dream, maybe that she's actually met the Ink Fairy instead of falling asleep again.
-
Ok, done! This is actually early for me, haha. Usually I’m right up to the deadline lol.
-
Made a book spread my ink fairy!
Since this was digital, I tried to keep everything to what I could manage with black and white pens, though I might have gone a little wild with all the ink washes for this challenge... But I'm happy with how it turned out! -
@miranda-hoover I was eagerly waiting for this and it didn't disappoint great work
-
They used to call them the "Ink fairies". They striked in the foggy nights. After numerous succesfull "shoppings" for ink supplies police finally managed to stop them. Thanks to a local insomiac Ellie Dickins who also appeared to be an amateur photographer.
-
@marek-halko Now that's an original take on the prompt!
-
-
Ink fairy will practise her special drawing talent everywhere so Ellie 'fell asleep' in the fairy circle to wait for the PERFECT shot! -
@Gary-Wilkinson Awww! Thank you
-
@marek-halko Nice! Cool concept!
-
@Coley Cute! Great job with the mushroom houses (also love the "shroom, sweet shroom" detail!).
-
@Gary-Wilkinson Cutest little ink fairy!
