Right now I am actually re-listening to the 3PP 'Building a Strong Portfolio' podcast while finishing off this month's art prompt (I'm like the person they describe who has no idea what their goal is!). After this I'll have a bit of brain relaxing Lo-Fi beats playlist on Spotify. For a little treat I have a break where I watch an episode or two of Hey Duggee cartoons on BBC iPlayer. (It's for preschool but I think it's a master of simple animation and theres loads of jokes that adults will get in there! I love watching all of the little details added in.)

I mostly listen to podcasts, talking about art and such. I've been hooked on Levar Burtons story podcast. It's geared more towards adults. https://open.spotify.com/show/21yjAjzYXD1xCNDad4OdTV 💜💜💜💜

Jonsi is one of my favorites to listen to while painting, usually more happy than Sigur Ros and isn't in English so it's not as distracting. 🙂

I put twitch on and listen to other random people play videogames. I don't know, I enjoy video games a lot but find when I play them I often get bored and feel like I could be drawing instead. Listening and watching someone else play scratches that itch, and I get something more productive done at the same time.

@CLCanadyArts Watching it live seems to be such an awesome experience, with both the visuals and the sound! I had to google it now that you mentioned it, and it seems they are actually planning a live tour in 2022, if things like that are possible by then. I'm tempted to get a ticket, even though I'm in the wrong country and also not sure if I should be that optimistic.

@Joen-Söderholm Neat website. Live would be amazing fur sure, but I will cling to that "live video", as I doubt I will ever get to see them truly live.

@animatosoor Right now I'm listening to "Day Of The River" by Joe Hisaishi. Very good stuff.

When I’m drawing I love listening to the song of the sea soundtrack or wolf walkers sound track or any ghibli soundtrack . It gets me in the zone and I feel like I’m drawing a world that fits the music. Actually depending what I’m listening to it really influences my drawing. If I listen to bat for lashes which I totally recommend her last album if you loved the movie lost boys or if your an 80s kid like me, actually any of her albums are really cool, she has a song about Daniel San need I say more 😉 it’s a whole other vibe the drawings I do .Music is a big part of finding your style I think , it really influence what you draw and the style 7BA87632-A616-44B6-AE26-3F74C8ABDAA9.jpeg

I feel like you can never go wrong with Tycho. Plus founder Scott Hansen is a designer. The Awake album is a great place to start:

Lately I have been listening to ADHD Focus music when I start on a project. By the end of the project I listen to 70’s 80’s 90’s early 2000 rock music. I tried to listen to a podcast but I find it to distracting.

I listen to a lot of DnD podcasts that I've heard before (Sneak Attack) so that I don't have to focus too much. Other than that, mostly asmr, low fi or even audiobooks help sometimes. But then again I'm also the person who "watches" tv while I work too.
