@Asyas_illos The sandstorm idea is so good! And your style as always super charming.
About adidng the storm, just as an idea, maybe let the camel props be blown, too, the reigns, the saddle cloth ect. -
@Asyas_illos Great characters.
-
@Holumpa thanks for the feedback! I thought about that, but a lot of the bottom part of the camel I think is going to be obstructed by the storm, which is why didn’t do much in terms of his legs, but I could play with maps more and maybe whisps of camel hair. Thanks again

@PenAndrew thank you!

Its a crazy feeling to almost completely cover up a picture you just finished, what are your thoughts? Is it too much, did I lose out most of my details?
-
I’m thinking of adding a bird of some sort to the upper left corner, a falcon or ibis?
-
@Asyas_illos Wow this is so cool, I can really see and feel that sand blowing. Great job!
-
@Kristen-Lango thank you!
-
@Asyas_illos A sandstorm! What a cool idea. Love how this looks. I don't think it's too much. Definitely feels like sand moving swiftly through the air.
-
@Asyas_illos OHHHHHHH...MYYYYYY...GOODNESS!!!! This looks so authentic! So Gorgeous!
-
@frankiiij thank you I appreciate your enthusiasm!
-
@Johanna-Kim thank you!

Does the falcon sit well or does he convolute the story? I was just trying to show the difference in the air (in case it wasn’t obvious lol) and the thickness below
-
@Asyas_illos This is so adorable
-
@ArtistErin Yes, I agree.
-
@ArtistErin @PenAndrew thank you

-
@Asyas_illos I think because of all the white surrounding the falcon, he's become the focal point.
-
@AngelinaKizz thanks for the feedback maybe if I darken her hair it’ll bring the attention back down to her…?
-
So here’s a version with darker hair
-
@Asyas_illos beautiful job rendering the sandstorm!
What is your intended focal point?
For me, the falcon draws attention -- why is he there? What does he add to the story?
Because you have 4 characters in each of the 4 corners, they're competing for attention. If you intend that the woman be the main character, because she's the smallest, you may need to put her in the darkest colors so that she will stand out. right now the camel and sphynx draw more attention than she does, because of their value, size, and because the sphynx is above the sandstorm.
That's how I'm seeing it, anyways. Hope this feedback is helpful.
Again, great piece!
