So I have narrowed my concepts down to these 2 thumbnails. Which one speaks to you more? A or B?

@Melissa-Candrasaputra I'm not sure I understand B... but A is cute! It's meant to be "stir up a storm" right?

I LOVE your idea of stirring up a storm--haven't seen that concept expressed yet. I'm not quite getting the barrels and monkey in A (is that man meant to be a weather god?). In B, again, are those demi-gods hopping on and turning over the barrels, and the woman is perhaps another bigger god? The barrels make me think of beer-making. Perhaps if you simplified the unusual elements, reducing the unusual elements to one powerful thing, it might further clarify your idea. For example, how about one really powerful god (I like the lady from 😎 stirring up the storm, and omit the barrels and the monkey.

@Kristen-Lango Yes. Haha. B is "kicking up a storm" but I guess it is a lesser known saying or it doesn't translate as well into my image. Thank you for weighing in!

@Johanna-Kim thank you for the notes! I am struggling that I think in terms of idea, A is clearer but visually I personally find B more interesting. I'll work on distilling the ideas further and removing redundant elements 🙂

@Johanna-Kim also B is just a bunch of toddler mini-gods kicking up a storm with mummy goddess telling them to stop lol

@Melissa-Candrasaputra Ohhh, I love that idea--it's so funny and cute at the same time. If you like B, then I think you should definitely pursue that idea, making it as clear as possible. For example, how would you express that these are toddler mini-gods? And how would you show that the larger lady goddess is their mother? And why the barrels? Maybe for the mini-gods, the clouds and wind are mere toys? Imagine a toddler playing with blocks, or fingerpaints. Right now the toddler gods seem more agile than toddlers. It's ok if they are. They could be mischievous 7-ish year old gods. Maybe instead of barrels, all they have to do is swirl the air with their arms, or maybe stir up the atmosphere with bolts of lightning sticks? I guess I'm still hung up on the barrels:) I look forward to seeing what you come up with!

@Melissa-Candrasaputra after setting this aside for 2 days now I am having second thoughts about the rendering of the big tornado. Does anyone have suggestions on how to improve the rendering, make it more dynamic (i.e. looking like it has a swirling motion) rather than a heap of whipped cream that looks pretty static to me right now? Thanks in advance!

@Melissa-Candrasaputra maybe some gestural linework or something being torn/broken up by the flow of the tornado would help express its movement and power.
