@Asyas_illos
Nothing wrong with being generous to ones self.
Lovely portrait though, I like the shapes you've used to convey it. -
@Blitz55
thank you! I think this is the only self portrait I have actually finished, I generally tend to avoid them lol.
-
@Asyas_illos This is really striking, I love it and it's got so much personality!
-
I reworked this older tiger illustration. It was the last time I entered a Svslearn contest. My first version had too much colour for my style and this time I also used digital colour.
Thanks,
-
@Heather-Boyd thank you! And I love the reworked tiger entry! Nice choice!

More sketches for my steampunk story
Finnick is like a nerdy scholar dude that relates every topic to a book heβs reading lol
-
@Asyas_illos Really stunning shapes and colours, especially the subtle light on the hair.
-
@kylebeaudette A fantastic character-ful fox! Looks like he's going to snap at those leaves at any moment...
-
Ranking of kings fan art. Has anyone seen the show? It's so beautiful, It was really fun trying to mimic the style.

Hi all, here are a couple of things I've been working on. I put some designs up on Spoonflower.
I've lost some motivation lately though, not sure what's going on. Feels like I've hit a wall. Hope I can work through it because I want to make lots more of this stuff and figure out how to actually sell things.

-
@tomparsonsart These look really great!
Aw, that's a horrible feeling. I hope you break through your wall soon. I find that happening to me usually when I've had a smooth run of creative things going well and then I get tripped up by my own rebellious subconscious not wanting to do all the to-do's on my To Do list. I have many good intentions, but want to run away from them all. π₯΄

@Asyas_illos This is such a nice illustration.
-
Not a childrenβs illustration, but a hired illustration gig. I got to illustrate a podcast, and it was super fun!

i made something for school. Its called a Learning Map (Lernlandkarte in German)
i spend quite some time on its, while i had do read everything about the Topic Literacy for Children and other literature, i can use to create my map.
its also possible to click on the different topics, so my Teacher is able to identify the sources.
You can have a look if you want, not that many of you could read the texts but i think its a realy nice tool though.
Have anyone of you ever used genial.ly?
Its cool, you can upload pictures of your own and generate clicable info pages, links and stuff. It looks like a really nice tool for teachers to generate cool content for their class to learn with -
I'm slowly building a picture book illustration portfolio from scratch using spreads from book dummies I've written & sketched out. Here's one I've just finished from this month, my third piece overall. Only 9 to go before I can create my initial portfolio and start submitting to agents
-
My latest illustration for my portfolio. Please let me know what you think and if you have any suggestions on how to make it more powerful. Thank you!
