i made something for school. Its called a Learning Map (Lernlandkarte in German)

i spend quite some time on its, while i had do read everything about the Topic Literacy for Children and other literature, i can use to create my map.

its also possible to click on the different topics, so my Teacher is able to identify the sources.
You can have a look if you want, not that many of you could read the texts but i think its a realy nice tool though.
Have anyone of you ever used genial.ly?
Its cool, you can upload pictures of your own and generate clicable info pages, links and stuff. It looks like a really nice tool for teachers to generate cool content for their class to learn with

I'm slowly building a picture book illustration portfolio from scratch using spreads from book dummies I've written & sketched out. Here's one I've just finished from this month, my third piece overall. Only 9 to go before I can create my initial portfolio and start submitting to agents 😳

My latest illustration for my portfolio. Please let me know what you think and if you have any suggestions on how to make it more powerful. Thank you!

@Jason-Crowley I love all the little details like where she's drawn on the wall, and the ball of eyeballs... πŸ˜„ The incredibly blissful teddy is adorable.

@Richy-s-ayala I like it a lot! The sky is particularly beautiful. 😍
Since you've asked, I hope I won't get in trouble for giving some random suggestions here:
I'm particularly drawn to the boy with the umbrella, but feel like he doesn't stand out as much as he maybe should if he's a main focus. If he isn't a main focus, maybe all the people could contrast more with their background? It's awesome that he has a sky blue umbrella!
The ground: I love that you've added some interesting colours and textures to it, but there's quite a lot of it so it feels like the picture kinda disappears at the bottom. What would happen if you added some foreground silhouettes or cropped some of it away? You could maybe crop lots of ground and add more sky?
But even if you ignore all this completely, I think it's a lovely piece to add to your portfolio as is.
And many thanks for your help with mine earlier!

@Richy-s-ayala Oh, I also just noticed: the boy and the man with the crate are both facing out towards the edge of the picture, if they faced in that might keep the viewer's eye exploring the illustration for longer.

@Robyn-Hepburn YES this is great! Thank you for the suggestions! I will definitely do those since the boy with the umbrella is definitely the main focus.

@von_Nimmermehr I love it!! Im going to check it out better and practice my German again. As of next schoolyear I'm going to be a primary school teacher instead of teaching students.

@Jason-Crowley this is such an awesome illustration!! In this big sweater with her hair spread out in that shape. The perspective. Can't wait to see the upcoming pieces.

@Chantal-Goetheer the link to Emergent Literacy is an english specialized text, i can recommend it πŸ˜‰ i bet you can find a lot of input to google in your language though
But also practicing German is good πŸ™‚

I finally tried some creation again after a long time. A friend had a baby and based on her card I tried to make something. I wish traditional art had a crtl z button, but I'll visit her tomorrow so time is up.

Couple of quick fun and messy sketches. Haven't had a whole lot of time lately, but was having fun here sketching in Watercolor then going over it with ink and a dip pen. Staying as lose and care free as I could.

@Chantal-Goetheer Thanks Chantal, perspective was challenging, I ended up blocking in basic shapes in Blender and playing around with different camera angles, it was a huge help.
