Hi everyone, hope I'm not too late...
I'm brand new to SVS and trying to build up my illustration skills after taking some years off to be a stay-at-home-mom.
          Here's my entry: khorowitz_TRAPPED_lr.jpg
          Would love any feedback. TY

I'm hoping I can still submit mine. It's almost done. Does anyone know if there is submission deadline?

This is a digital study to plan a future gouache painting.

If this piece is selected for critique, I would most appreciate feedback on improving composition, lighting or especially color. Thanks!

I think this would work well as an editorial piece!

I like you’re color palette, there is no question as to who main character is, good story building.

@skeletortoise Love how your piece turned out! Very nice color choices, especially on the jar. You went all out on the details in the room and made some smart choices about how to combine your two layouts. Window plus observatory was a great solution. And the concept is more clear now with all the other labeled star jars. Very cool!

@Jeremy-Ross Awesome! You're knocking this shape language stuff out of the park! That shark has so many scary triangles! I really appreciate that you took the time to check out my book recommendation and I hope it was helpful.

@reberlik I'd like to include the linework for my piece as well if that's okay.
I've been looking at it the past few days on various screens and thinking the details may not be visible. Thanks!
