Hi Marsha! I think it's awesome that you are tackling this book again and aiming for finish. The text is a lot of fun and I like the character of uncle Carl. Way to go!

Going to be gone all day but I woke up early and did a bit of prep for inking tomorrow so, just checking in. Now I need to go back to bed and try to sleep a couple hours so I can make it through the day and night!

Went to visit my sister this morning so only got one done today. I know it's not perfect but...it's whatI can do right now....pushing on!

I did do it over. Still not pefect but I'm okay with this one. Not okay with the last one...though the other photo is much better and clearer. I'm not a photographer

I need to fix the tangent where the knee and leg meet too, I see that now. Photoshop.

Okay, I redid it ONE more time. Question: Should I put the cow in again or is it a distraction from moving the story forward? Thank you.

I did make some progress today with sketching.

The second image didn't post.....the sketches of Uncle Carl running. It's okay. I made a decision on that and will start inking soon.

Here are my two inkings for today. I'm starting to feel like these aren't that great again but I'm pushing ahead. Not sure if I should or not but....the cow is giving me some trouble again too....I hope I'm not giving in on this too soon. I believe someone else could do so much better but, it's my project so I am going to do it anyway. I am going to work on figure drawing and review the class on positioning characters again and also watch the visualizing perspective class. I'm a little embarrassed by these.....

Guess what! I actually finished my cow. Not perfect, but it will do fo rme. Much better than it was. Sorry for the fuzzy picture.

And this is the last illustration of the book! Now, I need to do the cover and a few touch ups, etc.

Then I will prepare to paint a lot. Whew! Still a lot to do but I am going to say this part is done.
