Inktober Day 7. Aegis.
The legends surrounding the Old Kings are closer to the truth than most realize. It is said that they came upon an opportunity to obtain an unfathomable power for themselves...or choose to bless their posterity with this gift. Four of them, seeing the many errors in mankind, decided the surest way to use the power for good was to take it upon themselves. The other three, believing that such power was too great for a select few to wield unchecked, passed on the opportunity and thus their lineage inherited that gift.
The four, now known as the Old Kings, soon became corrupted with their strength, and the resulting wars were on a scale that the world had never seen. The Old Kings are now just a memory; their disappearance is shrouded in as much mystery as their reign.
(This Inktober challenge is tougher than I thought it'd be. I got impatient with this one and didn't even finish it.)

Happy day 8!
I didn't have much time this morning so I just pimped up a bull shark.

Day 7 and 8 since I started yesterday but didn't get to finish. I have been wanting to draw this guy for a while. I hope I did him justice.

WOW! What beautiful ink drawings everyone has!! Awesome job!! This is my first time participating in Inktober this year. I am really excited about it and it has been keeping me on my feet. Here is one of my most recent pieces of a chickadee. I used a Micron 03. I have been posting them on my Facebook and Instagram.

Also here is a before and after of Tai Kamiya from Digimon I did using a brush pen. The first one was done as a 12 year old and the second was done as a 26 year old. Haha.

@joyce_carmo I love this! Please tell me this is a story I can find and read!
-
@Joslyn-Schmitt Thank you very much. I'm really sorry, but for the past three years all I could come up with was visual development. I have an overall idea for a story featuring my mice, but for some time now it's just been an excuse to study a couple of things. I'm really excited with the feedback I've been receiving and, I'm willing to try and create a little story sometime. If this happens, I'll be sure to let you know.
This is my 8th entry. Having a tough day, so I just did a gesture study.

@joyce_carmo Hey! No need to be sorry. We all work at our own pace. Sometimes the characters and stories we create take time. It is like our precious treasure you know? Can't rush the good stuff. Plus I think the illustrations you create tell a story already and if you keep creating them this way, putting together a story with text will not be too difficult. So keep doing what you do because your characters are super cute and look great. I will definitely be watching how your mice stories unfold. ^__^
