SVS Inktober Thread

@joyce_carmo I love this! Please tell me this is a story I can find and read!
-
@Joslyn-Schmitt Thank you very much. I'm really sorry, but for the past three years all I could come up with was visual development. I have an overall idea for a story featuring my mice, but for some time now it's just been an excuse to study a couple of things. I'm really excited with the feedback I've been receiving and, I'm willing to try and create a little story sometime. If this happens, I'll be sure to let you know.
This is my 8th entry. Having a tough day, so I just did a gesture study.

@joyce_carmo Hey! No need to be sorry. We all work at our own pace. Sometimes the characters and stories we create take time. It is like our precious treasure you know? Can't rush the good stuff. Plus I think the illustrations you create tell a story already and if you keep creating them this way, putting together a story with text will not be too difficult. So keep doing what you do because your characters are super cute and look great. I will definitely be watching how your mice stories unfold. ^__^

Thanks for the support! I really appreciate it.

Inktober Day 8. Faron part 2.
These imges I've been doing have been part of a story that I want to try and develop (right now I come up with most of the stuff while trying to figure out what to write about each picture). Faron will probably be one of three main characters. His design could change quite a bit from what I've been doing for Inktober.
Can you tell that I'm a big fan of Dragon Ball and Naruto? Dragon Ball was probably my main drawing reference when I was a kid, haha.

To go with my terrible puns I've been going for I present to you: The Shark Knight
Ace
-
@Ace-Connell I loved the Shark Knight!!
So, the guys Iβve posted the past days arenβt actually the main cast of my story, but side characters. From today on, Iβll be posting the latest designs for my main roster, starting with her. I think of her as a leading figure, but havenβt decided much about her role yet.
-
@joyce_carmo No! Don't encourage puns as terrible as mine. It's unethical haha.
Super cute mouse and really delicate linework!
Ace

@shinjifujioka Super cute! I really like the sidekick character shooting its tiny flame.
-
@Joslyn-Schmitt thanks! Although it might not look like it, that little critter packs a big punch, lol
-
Wow, everyone's doing such beautiful work! I'm learning a lot just seeing this great art. I didn't really have much internet access last week, so I'm joining this thread a bit late.
I've done Inktober each day, but here's the ones I'm able to share here: (PS I love feedback - trying to improve!)

Inktober Day 9. Winny.
Winny became an orphan at the age of 6 when her parents and siblings were killed for information regarding the location of the Guardian Manuscripts. She doesn't talk much and is entirely independent, having lived pretty much all on her own for the past five years. She is a descendant of Aelia.

You'd have thought sharks would get boring after 10 days, but nope... here's Frankenshark!
Ace
-
@Carey-Bowden nice work with the textures.
@shinjifujioka I'm loving your characters!Here's day 10.
-
@joyce_carmo Thank you! Your character design has me interested in what sort of story they'll be involved in I like how you do your linework!
-
Here's a tree I inked with me and my wife's names carved into the side. It wasn't until it was too late that I realized there were some light source problems... oh well, ink and learn...
-
Inktober Day 10. Winny.
Tried to ink a little more loosely and quickly. I think the feel is better, but brush control needs to improve a ton.
-
Miss a few days because of family visiting from out of town. The brush pen is a challenging instrument!

Thank you! I like to build my lines with technical pens starting with a 0.05mm, depending on the size of the sketch underneath. These are really small drawings. And I wonder what kind of story I'll be able to create too, hahaha! Seriously, I've been trying to think about a story while creating the characters, but I feel like there's still a lot of things to plan out, and I'm not really sure this will work at all. lol But as long as I'm having fun and they give me a motive to work on something, I'm okay with it.
Day 11 - Another small drawing for the main roster. I think this character changed the most since 2013.

Just catching up after falling behind. I'm getting a little more practiced with the brush pen.
