Hey, wanted to mention that in addition to the stuff I wrote above, there is going to be a new subscriber area here on the forums! It's going to have demos and all kinds of stuff. It will contain extras to our video classes such as new assignments, drawing challenges, crits, and other goodies. Maybe even discounts on software and hardware!!!

Sometimes I feel like I'm just swimming around randomly in a very big lake, and not actually reaching a destination. So happy to continue as a subscriber!

@Lee-White I’m excited about the new content and added content for subscribers. I appreciate that not everyone financial situations or priorities (or the same for personal time and commitments) get in the way of subscribing. However after looking around for something as deep pointe at comics as SVS is toward illustration made me really appreciate the value SVS provides for the price. And you let new folks try it out for free for a short period of time so people can check it out.

Nice. Critiques are so helpful to learn from, at least in my own experience.

I wonder how many people, like @kylebeaudette, participate in the contest with the hope of winning some quality education because they can't or don't, for whatever reason, buy the subscription (which I think, by the way, is a phenomenal price, at least for people who earn USD or similarly weighted currencies).

Just to throw out the idea, perhaps there could be an occasional contest for non-subscribers only? It might be a big draw to the forum for artists who don't yet participate much with SVS. It could even have a slightly different format so those with potential or drive could be rewarded and earn the subscription months.
