My computer just crashed and I lost 3 hours of my work from this morning. Can I just say F************************** this s*****************************!!!!! I've been so busy, overwhelmed, tired lately, so this really is ill-timed. I feel so discouraged and pissed off! Sorry, needed to vent.. If you need to vent as well, feel free to use this thread to get it off your chest so we can comfort each other!

@NessIllustration What kind of setup do you have? Doesn't Photoshop / Windows automatically save temp backups?

@NessIllustration Crashes always happen at the worst times. It's like they know when they can do the most emotional and mental damage with their shenanigans.

@Buddy-Skelton I usually work in Photoshop and it saved automatically every 6 minutes, however this morning I'm doing lineart and I've never liked doing lineart in Photoshop, so I was over on Paint Tool Sai No recovery options whatsoever. The program is very light though, so I'm shocked my computer crashed in the first place! I don't understand what happened...

@burvantill Hihi thanks! I have caught up to where I was this morning, so I feel much better about it now! That's a good way to look at it too, I will keep that in mind next time my computer crashes (let's face it, it will happen again haha!)

@Eli Thanks Eli! I caught back to where I was in the afternoon and felt so much better after that haha.. In the moment, I was just so discouraged!

Urgh I hate it when that happens @NessIllustration , i'm glad to hear you've caught up with your work again!
Don't you hate it when you've done a load of work and it's all been on the wrong layer too? haha! Or maybe that's just me!

@hannahmccaffery This happens to me all the time too! It's especially frustrating when I realize I've done lineart on the sketch layer instead of a new layer hahaha

@nyrrylcadiz Oh when I say crash I meant it froze, and I had to restart it without saving my work The computer still works (although it does freeze more often these days!)
