      Hello everyone,

I'm new to SVS and my goal is to create graphic novels.

I created the page below to test myself. I'd love to hear what everyone thinks of it so I can try to gauge where I stand in terms of creating an appealing graphic novel.

Thank you so much for your time. 🙂

@Ethan it reads really well and you created a good sense of suspense. A good start, I would say.

I think this looks really nice, the one thing I would say is that in the first panel the forest is green and in the second panel it is blue. It may be nice to incorporate a little bit of the blue into the distance of the first panel and make the branch under the main character a little more green in color to add continuity.

@StudioLooong Nice observation! I'll experiment with that.

@Ethan I really like your work. I was hesitant to post because I do not have much experience with graphic novels, and probably have more questions than answers because I am hoping to write one. But I agree with @StudioLooong with the change in forest colour. I actually found it confusing and wondered if it was a different character. The change in colour creates a confusing break in the story.

@Ethan I think it reads well. I can see myself reading it or even my young kids would enjoy it. I do agree with the color, however I didn't even notice it till @StudioLooong and @Erin-Cortese mentioned it.

@Ethan This looks great! I feel like it reads better now and the speech bubbles even seem easier to follow. I really love the style and colours.
