Hi there! I know that the book is already out and the deadline is long due but I just wanna drop here and say that what you guys, especially @ShannonBiondi, did is one of the greatest acts of compassion I've ever witnessed.
I only wish I had joined the forum earlier so I could be a part of that too...
I am truly touched and I can already see that you guys are a great community, full of love and respect!

I'm so glad you like how it turned out. SVS is such a great community - I know that if I hadn't suggested it first someone else would have!
And @IgorWoznicki - welcome to the forum! And thank you If you want to contribute, I put a note into the envelope telling Will that other people had submitted art work on this thread after the printing deadline so he'll probably still see any art posted now

Hi Gang,
I love you guys. I got the book yesterday and it took my breath away. I won't be able to describe the feelings I had when I realized what I was looking at. Tears welled up in my eyes as I looked at each page. I felt unworthy of this much love and attention - I felt in some ways it was too much...but then I realized that this is what we do for each other. We show our ultimate love and appreciation and compassion and concern by giving of ourselves - giving our time.
Your work was beautiful - each one reminding me of the love I had and have for an amazing woman named Lori. I will cherish this gift for the rest of my life. I will remember to lift others as you have lifted me in my time of need. I will try to place myself in the shoes of others to be continually worthy of your efforts.
I'm humbled and moved to my core.
Thank you doesn't quite say it but whatever is 5 notches above thank you - that's what I'm feeling.
And thank you Shannon for all your hard work and willingness to be a leader...wow!

I'm only here at SVS and diving into illustration after a search a year and a half ago took me to your youtube channel and eventually here........
I have learned so much from you. This whole thing has likely changed the trajectory of my own life in art, I am building new skills and more than anything, learning to find a lot more meaning in my art. It all comes back to what you said about everyone giving of themselves to make another person's life a little better and we have all found that here at SVS.
Really happy @ShannonBiondi stepped up (kudos!!) and everyone else too, and am really happy to hear how much it meant to you. Take care Will!
