Ms. Beeman's 5th grade musical production of Cinderella.

When one needs lots of kids of all different kinds with various expression, one starts a project. I figure with the cast, chorus and stage crew I can get 20 kids or so.
Also figured I'd put em' all in one spot
Day one is Timmy. Timmy neither wants to be in a musical nor stuck in a thick woolen mouse costume for hours on end under hot cold war era stage lights. Timmy feels typecast for buckteeth and a sharp nose. Timmy is right.
Also, the rest of the mice have been borrowed from the most leaky representatives of the kindergarten.
Timmy is an unhappy camper.

Thanks everyone! I think it'll be fun.

You mention that you want to be a teacher once. ONCE. And every time the grotty little snot-nosed monsters from the primary wing are involved in something YOU get to look after them. EVERY. TIME.
Timmy thinks Ms. Beeman is trying to tell him something.
Timmy is right.

Anny, you'll be playing the fairy godmother.
Yes, Anny you may use some glitter. SOME glitter, Anny. Anny? Anny, look at me. SOME, Anny. SOME glitter.

@Braden-Hallett nailed it!

Thanks everyone I was a big theatre nerd, so something must have rubbed off design-wise, lol
The wicked stepmother.
Tomorrow will be the crew responsible for moving the wicked stemother.

Hi @Braden-Hallett, I bet you would like reading books by Aaron Reynolds. I believe heβs also a theatre nerd. Wouldnβt it be so great to illustrate one of his books??
-
@Jeremy-Ross I'll have to check him out! thanks
-
Ran out of time today, and I once again made the mistake of trying to illustrate and colour three kids instead of one.
The crew is often made up of the kids who for some reason can't or simply won't learn their lines

Okay, Henry, if she tips over it's YOUR job to catch her.
