The only time looking at disasters is exciting is in this thread! Great to see everyone's take on it!
Here's my entry!

This is my submission for this March Contest. I hope you like it! Thank you @Will-Terry for coming up with this interesting theme!
-
@Neha-Rawat I love this! So cute! All of the characters are adorable, even the expressions of those in the background. Beautiful color scheme and love the patterned background!
-
Here is my submission for March! I had a lot of fun with it and it also felt like a metaphor for life right now...

@nadyart Wow your artwork is gorgeous!! Beautiful composition, and those textures look so suede I feel like I could touch them.

"Everything was rattling, falling apart and breaking. Buzz started rethinking his life choices."
I was already working on this piece for a project, but thought it might (loosely) fit the theme?
Still struggling with aspects of this piece, might make some changes. -
This was such a fun prompt! I went a bit brighter than usual. I hope you all are surviving quarantine. Stay healthy out there!!
-
@MattBaker whoa. You have some mad skills. This looks good.
-
@chrisaakins Thanks Chris! I've got a long ways to go but thank you for the encouragement
-
@Kaela-McCoy Thank you!
@nadyart This is so cute! I love how the typography is adding to the story!
-
@chrisaakins, I had also considered fireworks! And I'm still loving these cute and mischievous mice.
-
Had too much fun creating this piece!
This is a post apocalyptic war zone. Marcus aka The Kid, has successfully taken out another Plague Mask Robot (PMR) unit with the help of ingenuity and his hoverboard. He has some assist from his comrade, Hailey, in the green aircraft shooting at the bad bot. I discovered that I love drawing robots. Who would have thunk it?
Great entries above. Mad skills everyone! Take care and be safe. Wash your hands!

Like everyone, my plans were disrupted by the Coronavirus. I started this as a watercolor but when I lost a couple of weeks, decided to finish it in Procreate. I was happy to have it to work on though — not only was it a good distraction but I needed some dancing bisons in my life right now
