I missed it too, didn’t pay enough attention to catch the time change, but will catch the replay, thanks so much @Braden-Hallett for organizing and recording these! I’m learning lots.

@nadyart thank you so much for the presentation. I really enjoyed it.
@TessaW I recommend trying the method. I had chated up with Nadya a bit about the process earlier, and I was doing a piece trying out her process today. The struggle is real. But the result really has a different quality to it than my digital painting, even though I am a newbie with watercolor and have very little control with the medium.

@nadyart Thanks so much!! That was personally inspiring to me, and I think I'm going to try your method for myself! I hadn't really thought of using elements of a watercolor image as a type of "collage" as it seemed so inherently linked to the paper's textured surface, but now seeing how you've done it (and used the clone tool, too!) I'm much more confident. Thank-you so much for sharing!!

@xin-li I may have to! I like the fact that the textures and colors give you a starting point with some guidelines to work with once you bring it in digitally. It does seem a bit daunting, but it also looks really fun as well. Have you shared any of the pieces you've used the technique with?

I thought everyone was able to see the pop up boxes in Photoshop too, like the importing of scanned files and such. But I guess this isn’t visible, that may have been confusing, sorry!

Thank you for the upload @Braden-Hallett !
And thank you for everyone who watched πŸ™‚
                    I was a bit nervous πŸ™ƒ

@nadyart Nadya, Thank you for your presentation. Right now I'm learning the magic of the layer mask. Congratulations on your first book. It's beautiful.

@nadyart Thanks for the fascinating presentation. I work on Saturdays so only rarely can watch live but I'm thankful to @Braden-Hallett for posting them so I can watch them later. I was very interested in your presentation because I been doing watercolors that I bring into Procreate and your process was really helpful to see. Thanks (and lovely mermaid).

@nadyart It wasn't confusing! The confusing part was when I didn't mute my mic, I'm sorry 😨 I was trying to get everyone out of the room. We all share a workspace now and it has been hard to give up that wonderful thing called a closed door.

You didn't seem nervous to me, but I would have found it useful even if you hadn't said a word. I think I could probably watch you work for much longer than an hour. Thanks for sharing!
