Thank you, @heather-boyd! I love your idea with the bear looking back at the girl!

@Valerie-Light You're welcome! Hope it helps. Let me know, I'd love to see what you come up with! Always inspiring to see how others work through stuff I'm working on, lol 😁

      Update on this: 0_1538586473651_janeblenderrenderslightset.jpg
Renders using Blender. I think I'm done with this now. Like I said before, if anyone else is interested in this technique for lighting flat 2d art with 3d shaders or normal maps in Photoshop I wrote about it on my blog. I'll get on with other art to do with my personal project now.

I've just finished this Logan painting, it turned out better than I expected so I'm really happy with the result. I hope to post more stuff really soon, it's my first time actually sharing it.

@pam-boutilier I really can't give you any advice on portfolio pieces and what should go into them. I would say whatever style you are happy working with, go with that. You want to be happy with whatever you end up doing otherwise you will eventually regret it.

I really like the style and render in your final render of cozy cuppa. It feels warm and fuzzy. FYI The work on your Instagram is amazing. Whatever you decide to do, i wish you the best of luck!
