March contest! Dungeons and Dragons Rascals
-
I'm gonna put it away for a bit now!
-
just wow. It looks like Sammy is so ready for the adventure ! When's the book?!
-
@Braden-Hallett This is amazing!
-
Copy pasted the before and after into PS, that way I could really see all the little changes. Every change added so much more depth. Even adding more love the distant background. I really like the addition of the little balls/tassels on the old ladies shawl.

I really do make small incremental changes at this point! I suppose they'd be hard to tell apart without looking at them side by side sometimes
-
@Braden-Hallett I could see a lot of the changes, but I love flipping layers on and off to really compare it. I love works in progress, and seeing how they evolve. I wonder if we can post GIFs on the forum, I've never tried. Would be neat to put all the iterations into a gif.

That sounds like woooooooork It WOULD be kinda cool to see, though! I may look into it!

@Braden-Hallett Kind of. In Photoshop if you open a bunch of individual files, you can go to file > scripts > load files into stack. From there click "Add open files" Every file that is open in a separate window will appear there. There is a box on the bottom that you can click for it to automatically try to line things up, or leave it unselected. Click ok, and every file will be loaded into a new single image in separate layers. From there you can make a timelne, and use the layers as the frames.Making simple gifs like that goes really quick when you get the hang of it.

I got some nice critiques about the colour (yellow blue and red primary palette is HARD to pull off). What do you think of this for colours (I may tweak still!) I think it's less contrasty in a good way
-
Love the tweeks.Yeah I think it works. Also the Llama props turning gold yellow was a good choice.Whatever you do,don't change the green bandage on the horn!!It is too good!
-
Callin' this one done, too!
-
This looks really great! I love all the sketches you added to show different aspects of the story and character.
