Hi, and a great 2023 to all!
I’m currently trying to get back on some form of drawing routine.
Of course, any year for me is the year of the Pig:

And as usual, I’m back to irish dance related graphics, this time a solo dress design for my daughter, that I am really struggling with:

I am ok with how the sketch turned out but all that has to be translated to clean vector for the embroidery machine, and I am a bit overwhelmed with the task ahead… and I also have to do some detail for the cuffs and the back of the dress…

So I got a bit of a short notice that I was going to have a booth at Emerald City Comic Con this March, (Friend of mine gave me his). So I'm working on some of my Trolls to create a couple of little prints to sell to go along with the things I sold the last time I was at ECCC. Anyway, it's been a hot minute since I posted my work here so I wanted to get back into the groove on that.

@Jeremy-Ross your patterns are so much fun! Have you had success selling on sites like this before? I tried Red bubble for a while, but I didn't really make anything from it. I didn't know what I was doing though!

Hi Gang! With Valentine's Day around the corner, I decided to make a new pattern of hearts inspired by the 2023 Pantone Color of the Year "Viva Magenta".

Also, I've added my surface pattern designs to my website under a new tab titled, "fabrics".

Finally, thought to share that my pink and baby blue bunnies surface pattern design made the top 10% in the Spoonflower Contest! Overall, there were 1500 entries! I guess I had to find another contest to join now that SVS abandoned Sweet 16 Critique Arena (a hole in my heart)...

@Jeremy-Ross quickly checked it out, but it's awesome, there are so many different products and even fabrics for sewing. Love it! Will look into it more. Maybe it's time to replace the curtains in Lisa's room.
