      @Geoffrey-Mégardon I'd have said the vet is putting him to sleep (not permanently!) - perhaps because the T Rex is chasing/hunting the vet/wreaking havoc? Might need some sort of detail which makes it clearer that it's about dental hygiene! 🙂 Love your work - it's so dynamic and entertaining. Your take on things is fascinating. I would have loved it as a kid. Love it as an adult.

        @Geoffrey-Mégardon I prefer no. 12, as the dinosaur is so big it breaks the edges of the paper - that adds to its mass, and both it and the vehicle have dynamic poses. 😃 Pretty cool!

          @Geoffrey-Mégardon Ah, you already decided!
          Funny enough, this way you just tell another story than I expected, as to me the vehicle seems to be "more important" and the greater focal point, as it is so much more dynamic. I think that's very nice decided, as you emphasize that the car is more flexible and the dinosaur seems to be more portly. 😃

            @MimiHecher I do like both, so I might try to do 12 at some point.

                  New update. I inked the dino and the van, and I added the shadow layer.

                  I will probably revise the shadow of the T-rex as it does not exactly match the one of the van. Other than that, I intend to be done with the coloring tomorrow.

                    Update of the day.
                    van-vs-dino3.jpg

                    Still need to polish up the reflection layer (e.g. glass and metal) and add a glow/halo layer, and maybe a bounce light layer.

                    I am not sure the glass looks like glass enough. And I'm not sure the windscreen is working well at the moment.

                    But yeah, almost done I think 🙂

                      So my portfolio is kind of ready and I am thinking of reaching out for a rep. But, now I have a doubt. Should I include a book dummy in my portfolio?

                      I’ve made a thumbnail book dummy for the SVS CBP course. So I could clean it up to get more readable sketches.

                        @Geoffrey-Mégardon I don’t think it’s necessary to include a dummy

                          I wouldn’t include a dummy. Just the strongest finished work that’s cohesive together.
